Problems with the import manager

I have looked all around the site and have found little addressing the following bug:

I have imported LOTS of custom sounds, icons, textures, and models (some downloaded, some made by me) into my map. These will often work, but on occasion, they will mysteriously "disappear" into the void.

What do I mean?

When I test my map, an icon/model/texture that completely worked last time will be gone. When I check World Editor import manager it shows that the file size is Zero. BUT when I exit and reload, everything is usually back to normal.

If I try again later, then some other file "hides" temporarily.

Why? And how do I fix it.

It's very frustrating to finally finish a map you've been working on for years only to have it mysteriously eat your files.

Thank you to all who help the lost and alone.

Hello Scatless, I have encountered this bug before. WE sometimes corrupts your files for no good reason. My experience is that it happens more often if you send the file to another computer through E-mail or MSN or anything. The best way to counter this is to re-import the files you found corrupted everytime. If you run any addons in WE, reinstall WE to be sure. I hope some of this helps!
