Problems with latest version - Can’t work on old map

Hi all,

I have some weird yellow errors in World Editor from some old maps I wanted to keep working on. I haven’t worked on them for about 2 years and so I know there have been some updates to the client. I have looked around and seen that it’s too buggy to work on the WC3 editor these days but that can’t be true, can it? Does anyone know of a fix or a link to download an earlier version of the WC3 editor that I can use to edit the maps?

Thank you in advance.

You mean these (for the weird yellow errors in WE):
"Failed to load Environment Map for tileset blah blah blah"
"Referencing unknown database field: 'netsafe' blah blah blah"

According to various comments in this forum, these have nothing to do with your WE. Basically, it's more related to the broken stuffs that was happened in the updated Reforged. Expect more of that.

Additionally, if you are using the updated Reforged's WE, please:
1.Switch the World Editor to Raw Data mode when you attempt to open up the Type fields (Unit-Type, for example) of the Object Editor, as doing it normally will get the broken version of Type field.
2.Save your map as a folder so that you can solve the broken imported assets. Save often after making some changes, and be sure to keep your original backups.

If you have these you can safely ignore them, they don't do anything noticeable

More concerning is the warning about popcorn SFX that can cause issues
