Hi. I need help: why i don't see this thing in my Object editor?

And i too don't see where to add to tavern or other building training units.

portrait is automaticly set with the hero.
Let me ask, where did you find that line? I can't find it..

AFAIK it is not needed to set the portrait. It is automaticly set. Don't worry about it.
I also can't find that. No, you don't need to update your WE. Althought, you could switch to JNGP, but it is not needed unless you trigger with jass

Once again, just set the path as same as the model's path and your hero's Portrait will be loaded.

You don't need to change path when importing models and their portraits. For a portrait to work, it's enough that it has same name as the model plus the suffix "_Portrait".
"Model.mdx"
"Model_Portrait.mdx"

Though it would probably work too if you would add the "_Portrait" at the end of the path of the portrait. That would explain my initial assertion.

Just give us a link of the model you try to import. Maybe you are missing a texture or the model file itself is corrupt.

I think you messed up the importing.
You must set a custom path.

The skin should have the custom path of Units\Creeps\Ninja\Ninja.blp
The model can have any path. Simply remove the war3imported\ .
