I play it off and on, just got interested in it again, though I've been playing Emerald since I prefer those to Diamond and Pearl, I'll probably transfer them over when I get them too high enough levels for online play.

Your silver still works? The internal battery on my gold died and now the game can't be saved - oddly enough Yellow still works fine.

Most of my classic games (Yellow, gold, red, blue, green) died a few years ago, so no more of them. I'm stuck with Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald (Incredibly frustrating, the same game 3 times). I'm acually stuck with a GBA emulator for my games now. I've got yellow (Pika can't freaking beat Brock though), Gold, Ruby, Emerald, and Fire Red. I've acually started cheating on Ruby though to add variety (Only every single legendary and unlimted rare candies)

Lol, I remember when I was first playing it (when I was like 12) I just stocked up on tons of potions and simply tanked it out as It never occurred to me to try and go get something that could take down Brock's onix anyways.

Really it's probably not much more difficult then if you had chosen Charmander in Blue or Red, the thing is there's few good pokemon you can catch before Brock that are strong against rock type.

A few, but not many. That and I'm a 1 pokemon person. My Kyogre on Sapphire is a lvl 100 and can single handedly beat the Elite 4 only using surf until the PP runs out. I throw an Amuelt coin on it and get over 100G a run. Then I go by more Hp increasing stuff, and run it again. My goal is a lvl 5 with 400+ HP, currently at about 150 I think

Lol, very inefficient strategy. For 1 you can't use Kyogre in normal online things (I'm not sure if you can use um in link battles but like the Battle Tower you can't) and what if someone gets a level 100 Manectric or some other Electric pokemon that can take out your Kyogre in a single Thunder?

Well, Sapphire is a GBA game, so I doubt I can take it online with the DS stuff. And my only compitition is my brother Groundon, a fire/ground type that isn't even 100 yet either. And ya, not using him in battle tower sucks.

You can transfer all your Pokemans from the GBA games to the DS ones if you have a normal DS (I think DS lite can do it too, just not the new DS as it has no GBA slot)

On my Crystal (before the data got lost) I had Level 100 on Mewtwo, Mew, Raichu, Skarmory, Machamp, Slowking, Venusaur and Houndoom. Though they had mostly strongest attack moves (Hyper Beam, Fire Blast, Cross Chop, Thunder etc.).

useing the palpark, 5 a day can be transfered, note you cannot send them back to the old games.

You have to do it through the DS games with the GBA one in the bottom slot. You then go to the pal park, which is the small secluded place to the very south on an island. I don't remember what to do after that, but you'll find out when you get there.

Hmm, I think I might start a big saleout, If anyone wants a beldum or an eevee or Gible or turtwig or even an Unown just say:

Currant stock:

Beldum: 11 (no Gender)
Eevee: 13 (no Female)
Gible: 4 (1 Female)
Turtwig: 6 (no Female)
Unown: 28 (One of each letter/symbol, specify which one you want)
Feebas: Indefinate (breeding)
Magnemite: 10 (no Gender, shiny, two with Pokerus)

Note: I only have one femal gible, so if you want them, say before anyone else.

Saleout policy: First come first served.
cost: One Berry + junk pokemon

Special requests: If you want a shiny version of the above it will require a 'better than junk pokemon' in return as well as a berry.

The same applies if you want a differant pokemon not displayed.

If you want a shiny version of a pokemon which is not displayed the cost is two berries, a better than junk pokemon and a junk pokemon

Breeding request:
if you want me to breed a pokemon for you, specify how many you want, the cost is one berry per pokemon and a junk pokemon, Note: you must give me the pokemon you want to breed and this pokemon shall be returned by the end, garunteed.

Note: if a bred pokemon is shiny it will not cost extra.

Specify what pokemon you'r willing to pay in cases of 'better-than-junk' pokemon and I shall discuss wether or not I will accept it.

Feebas are now on the market, these annoying hard to get Pokemon can be yours for as little as a tm + one better than junk pokemon! (shinies cost tm + berry + junk pokemon + better than junk pokemon)

Shiny Pokerus pokemon:
As they are only available on sundays and mondays (brit time) for 24 hours, these thigns cost alot. two better than junk pokemon, a junk pokemon, two berries and a TM

Ah, Pokemon.... I still remember how I got my Camerupt Eruption on Ruby and finally lost it.... Anyways, I've never played Pokemon on Console anymore. The last one I've played is Platinum on Emulator.

Well good thing, Pokemon doesn't need any more cheat spam in it (I played online on the battle tower in diamond a while ago and essentially faced the same lineup in every battle - Black Charizard, Colored Blastoise, Colored Venasaur, This one varied, Colored Milotic). And Pokemon that you level through battling have stronger stats then ones you did with rare candies or something like Exp Share.

That's true in the case of rare candies but not true for the exp share.

And the stronger-ness is due to something called Effort Points (EVs). This explains them pretty well.

Wow, thats interesting. I knew choosing to fight to train them allows them to grow stronger, but I didn't know the type of pokemon fought actually effects what stats grow stronger
