PLZ HELP WITH IMPORTING IT WONT WORK!!

Ive ben trying to import models and i read like 3 different tutorials and cant seem to import anything. It always says cant load file (file name).mdl but the files are mdx. what am i supposed to change the file name to in import manager? PLZ help, thx

EDIT: NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT OUT. IT ONLY TOOK 4 HOURS LOL.
