Those moles cam from south-east, meaning they was either from Ghostlands or Silverpine Forest, which are the only coastal regions south-east from the Storm Isles where it is known that moles have attacked. Though, Silverpine is not coastal, it is near to Tirisfal Glades which has some beaches.
