Picking a secondary target BEHIND the primary

Hi,

I was just thinking about having an ability "bounce" to a nearby enemy behind the primary target. However the only way I thought about it would be picking all units in X AoE around the target and checking their angles between their positions and the primary target's position.

Is there an easier way to do this?
