All right... say your planning your dream MMO RPG. You have a great story/history to the game, 15 is the fewest number you can have, 20 is the most.

Gnolls. A tribal like people who live in small tribes throughout forests and look pretty good and could have a interesting plot.

Facelessones. A perfect evil in swarms going throughout the artic plains destroying everything in there a good role for an medium evil.

Golems. A magical race summoned eons ago no wondering the plains of mortals seeking a purpose and destroying anything that will stand in there way and immune to the power of magic an interesting race.

Trolls. A tribal race and a very interesting nes depending on the envouriment they can be in maney colors such like tan, white and black people, and could be a good role for a good guys or small time bad guys.

High Elves. Highborne perfect role for the good guy and perfec neutral people and an ancient and magical race living in forest and stone kingdoms.

Orcs. A race of brute strength and a shamanic clan people believing in the spirits and living in fortress's and tent huts all over swamps and barrenlands. A good people for bad guy.

Humans. Of course in between people pretty good at science and magic and bad and good the in betweens who live in clans and kingdoms.


Harpies. A race of half women and half bird who live in tirbes high in barren and badland mountains and are pretty bad.

The Voidwalkers. A race of abyss creatures who are pure evil destroying everything they see fit and are grand spell users and all are in one empire.

Nerubians. A race of spider creatures who live in ziggurat buildings and are in usually north or south artic areas and live in small city states.

Kobold. A race of neutral creatures that live in hordes or swarms and are only hostile would threatened by a foe but can be very evil.

Gnomes. A race of short people who develope sciences and new technology for their steam engine weaponary, and live in a factory like cities all over the icy covered mountains.

Centaur. A nomadic race traveling the dunes of deserts and barrens and also badlands who live in tribes and hunt other races for sport and are considered greatly evil.

Furbolgs the bear-like race are very peaceful and are considered a neutral people. They live in small tribes all over forests and snowy hill lands and hunt only critter like creatures.

@Saikann - YES, I'm totally in for the Rodians ^^ and they have a hero called Reelo, lol

Allright, here are mine then


Mithra/Khajit - A feline/humanoid race, with females as dominating in thier society - kindda like Amazones, only - their natural agility and nightvision has created a military structure consisting of sabotaours, rouges, assasins and the like

Humans - Well, they need to be in *sigh*. Greedy and inventive, fragile and easely manipulated by magic

Shumi - A magical race, that evolves into either a Moomba (agile and strong furry creature) or Elder (natural leaders, Highly intelligent, features of the shumi is still present) or Trama (Very destructive beings), rather then matures

Baatezu - A fiends race, way more evil than say - undead, yet noble and lawfull in nature, thus they have a higly organized and aristocratic society

Tarutaru - Gotta luv theese cuddly beings from FFXI ^^ to those who do not know of 'em, Tarutaru's are gnome-small beings that resembles children, with puppylike eyes and a black nose, and are very addicted to magic

Rodian - I figure this would be somewhat a mercenary race, not too bright and kindda filthy, yet fit and natural swift reflexes - like the Agility-based cousin of the Orcs

Snaken - Lamia, Naga and Medusae. Whereas in thier society, the Lamia would act as spiritual guides, and defensive spellcasters, the Naga would be the natural warriors and leaders, and Medusae the agressive flank with offensive magics

Orc - Much like the horde - blizzard did a great job with their history, eh?

Wood Elf - The common elf, skilled in markmanship and agile with both shortblades and protective and healing magics. A stealthy race, but kindhearted and metrosexual features

High Elf - A less agile race than the Wood Elf, has abonded the use of melee weapons completely to practice deadly and serene magic. Characterized by their beautifull features and dominant appearance, yet rather coldhearted

Dark Elf - Way more secretive than the Wood Elf, yet less stealthy, the Dark Elves has taken up large melee arms, like the Two-handed sword and Maces, and uses magic for solely destructive purposes

Razzier - A beastmen-like race that has natural weapons, like claws and fangs. Slim and sad-looking thier prescence is allmost ghost-like, and they practice Illusionary magic and are mostly active at night. Evil and sadistic in all thier actions

Kexutae - A demon race, round fat blobs that rely solely on thier brute strenght. Society is divided into a Military organisation and a temple, whereas the priests and acolytes, researches ways to enhance thier racial abillities (Buff magic)

Undead - Zombies, Skeletons, Necromancers, Vampires, etc. all under the impression that they simply have to conquor the world, and kill everything "living"

Draken - Theese lizardlike humanoids has a natural empathy for Dragons, and has thus allied themselves with theese giant beings. The combination has resulted in a astonishing military machine, with dragonriding spellcasters, supporting the strong and agile Spear-wielding forces on the battlefield

Icerina - Another race, dominated be female majority and authority. Theese serene and beautifull beings has a skin of Ice and thier architecture and engineering is entirely based on the structure of Ice and snowflakes. Thier "magics" are basicly the manipulation of Ice.

Inferina - Also an elemental race, only, thier skin burns, and whereas the Icerina are "Good", theese vicious beings are very evil. Thier appearance is intimidating and their feature is deformed and twisted. Thier society aswell as architecture, is rather chaotic and random.

*Omphaz - An elephant humanoid race, highly spiritual in nature, and has a naturally high constitution. They resent evil and fiends, and devote themselves to help other, less fortunate, good races. Being very intelligent, diplomatic and a tough notch, they are to be found everywhere, even in the midst of High Elves or Snakens

Alright here it is see it will its hot. All race information is relative to my story line. Each race has a purpose and and physical summary.

Archon, the guardian childern, defenders, race of heros- Extreme glorification of D&D's race.

Fairy, planters, carers, and the very heart of the forest- A More organized version of this happy race (only when they need it)

Elf, keepers of the balance, of the plants and herbavors- High Elves and Wood Elves mixed

Halfling, most equally ignorant and inassent hill farmers- Those little people from Willow

Skaven, hoping to find pieces of a broken history, they are the plain scouts- look and act alot like the mice from Red Wall, with Everquest 2's new race washed in

Dwarf, blacksmiths of great treatures, and leaders in industry- More like Warhammer with Warcraft type surroundings

Merfolk, the maids and over-seers of the waters- A cool (good) Naga designed people

Gnome, librarians and keepers of vast and ever growing knowlege- Everquest's verions mostly

Tauren, the ancients, the race that protected all life in the past (mostly the savage races back then like Elf,Ogwa, Merfolk, Dwarf, Orc, Gnoll, etc...)- Odveiously Warcraft

(never mind them)

Human, a people skilled in all things, but masters of only horse riding (knights, calvary)- Lions and Griffons for Confrontation

Lizardfolk, a nomade brothern of still evolving and changing reptiles- Back to Warhammers race with ajustments

Troll, Voodo shamans echoing a whisper into the past, for a long forgotten key to ruling the univers- Defenently Warcrafts folk

Harpy, conquerors and birds of pray for other races- Warlands beautiful and lawless Roytrians (I think its spelled)

Goblin, suisidel and utterly useless race of brilliant greeblings- Warcraft and Warhammer culture mix

Sahagin, the balance of destruction and secrets in the deep waters- D&D's and Murlock smashed together.

Orc, an ever growing, and branching race of brigand childish hulks- Warcraft made'm best...forever and always

Ogwa, the unseen pirates and slave traders of land and sea- an adult version of the old evil Christmas villians(can't remember the actal story)

Vampire, the caged souls of the dead, damned to roam the earth- lich, skeletons, raiths like Warhammer mostly

Gnoll, protectors of predators and guards of the wild things- Wolfen from Confrontation miniatures, both the kinds

Illithid, stainded phycic priests from a different time- D&D all the way

Drow, the spoiled remenates of defiled Elves, cursed underground by the raze of sun- looks like Lineage's dark elves, exept males have jet-black skin.

Demon, the product of sin, ill entitions, and miss guided hearts in Archons- looks alot like the choas legion of Warhammer

On a random note, 15 is FAR too many races for a MMORPG. Between 5 and 10 is a perfect ammount, with 15 it starts getting complicated to balance everything. What successful MMORPGs have you seen that have over 10 races?

Anywho, I would post information on each race, but its all essential to my cinimatic-that-I-will-eventualy-make's storyline. Or at least history

If i could do a MMORPG, i'ld do it originally :

1 Telepaths
2 Dark Elves
3 Fallens (from Diablo 2) with electronical stuff
4 Steam Punk dwarfes
5 Insanes (Strange creatures looking like punks and skinheads with weaks bodies on high mechanicals skeletons)
6 Satanists
7 Hell diggers (six-legs creatures whose love dig in the earth)
8 Dreamoniacs Knights (armored knights whose loves break everyone's dream, and worse, realize their Nighmares)
9 Insomniacs (creatures who doesnt know sleep, with 360° rotating members)
10 Fight Masters (six-armed creatures, masters in the art to fight)
11 Dephts Swimmers (A bit like murlocs)
12 Faceless
13 Tuskarrs
14 Makruka
15 Spawn dragons

I think it's all...
An original MMORPG :p
