I wonder how to make good graphics icons... since I am using Paint only...

Paint isn't going to cut it for good icons. A proper image editing/making software is needed.

Use Photoshop (Needs $$$) or use GIMP (Free but has less features) instead.

GIMP has the same amount of features as Photoshop, maybe missing a very small number, but GIMP has a tool that no Photoshop I use had, which is select by color.
