PATHING

Sorry I know this is a noob question, but how do you guys know the paths all the time for these models. I've got about 20 models downloaded and I haven't figured out a pattern in the paths, so the only ones I can get working for SURE are the ones with read-me's... so can you help me out?

Most of the paths are displayed on the model's page, along with the skin and animation information. Important paths are highlighted a brighter color then everything else. If you still can't find the paths that way, you can convert the model to an .mdl, open it with notepad and find them that way, too.

I think most guys use WC3 Viewer (in the tools section) for this, cause it's the easiest and fastest way. Start WC3 Viewer, select your model, and then "Current File/ Show Used Textures Names"

The page shows "ALL" of the paths....
