Patching WCIII without an internet connection

I'm in a bit of an odd situation with the computers, I need to patch my WC on a computer that can't access the internet (it's pretty complicated, basically I don't have the legal rights to install WC3 here, and the other computer's hard drive is failing + is bugged up)

If there is anything downloadable, I can save it to my flash drive and then use it on my other computer, but as far as I know about computers, I'm not sure it's possible

You would download the patch from Blizzard's website to your flash drive and take it over to the other computer. I think it could work.

You don't need Internet to patch WC3
You just need Internet to download the latest patch available.

Is there any reason it WOULDN'T work? It's an executable, store it on the drive and run it on the computer, and it will patch.

patchs like "Patch that converts 1.21 to 1.21b" dont work well
use 1.21b full patch instead

I tried that out and it worked just fine!

Although, I think I used v1.21a (sh*t)
For my purposes, it's just fine
