Paladin new animations

Alright ive been trying to get the paladin to use footman animations but everytime he looks retarded and doesn't do anything like he's suppose to. He kicks his legs for attack -1 and stuff. But if someone could get it so the animations would work on him I would be very pleased. ( Im making a paladin who uses 1h maul and shield with garithos' helm. Reskinning and all ). Just can't get stupid animations to work.
