One of the reasons I dont skin much is cause where my computer is, the desk and chair are unbearably uncomfortable to sit long durations of skinning. It is mostly my dad's computer, whom does his works there so I cant really move it. I got a laptop over the summer and one of the main reasons I got it was to skin. Much to my despair I cant really transfer my Corel to it. So I have Corel on my computer but not on my laptop (not willing to pay another $300 or whatever it was).

I would appreciate it if anyone has some suggestions that might help me. Be it a new program, cheap or free but still good, or how to transfer my Corel program from my computer to my laptop.

Reason for my renewed interest is that I might soon have a bit more time to skin. Or at least open the damn program again :p

My dad allready tried to cnp it onto my laptop. The problem is that you need to activate it via the internet to use it. Or something like that.

I guess gimp could work. I don't really use any fancy tools. Just need some options on brush, the something or rather drop (coppies color you click), and well thats mostly it.

I downloaded Gimp (2.4 cause thats all I could find). Hate it so far. Compared to Corel... well of course I am gonna hate it. Brushes confuse me. Cant even seem to get them down to a single pixel for detail. Well I will probably be doing my next skin in my uncomfortable chair and desk on my other computer. I actually have back problems now partly because of that stupid chair and desk. Mainly though I think its those BS chairs they make us sit in at school. Before I got my corel I had Paint Shop Pro something or rather. Was only like a hundred bucks so I might be able to get my dad to get me it. I will shoot higher for my grades. That might do the trick.
