Not working maps!

I have downloaded several awsome maps and some of them don't work. My WC somtimes crashes beacause of them and some of the maps my WC can't see!
What is the problem here? (by the way my WC is V1.24)

Are you sure you put the maps in the Warcraft III/maps folder?

Some maps may not work propperly because of theyre triggers. if taht map was created along time ago your new patch could not find some triggers or something. I dont know if i am right but i think like that if a map doesnt work

Yes I'm pooting the maps in the right directory Warcraft III/maps But for example the "Diablo 3 Warcraft".
My Warcraft can't see it. When I enter the game I go to the custum game i go to the place where I poot it and I cannot see the map.

sometimes certain maps doesn't work on certain patches. You'll need WC3 Version Switcher for that problem

you poot it in the wrong place and you think you're pooting it in the right place or you poot it in the right place and just arnt looking in the right place/hard enough

or you're looking on battle.net and some maps are single player and cannot be played on battle.net due to filesize so you cant see some maps you poot in
