"Not enough space to perform this operation" Map issues

Every single map that I have downloaded has this issue. I cannot open it in the editor, and I cannot play it. I try going to the game and starting a custom game, but when I click start game, the little chains bring up the boxes as if it is about to start, but then they just come back down and nothing happens.

Is there something wrong with my computer or is it the downloads? I heard that they may be protected, if so then why are they even hosted here and how do I unprotect them?
