Using this

  • Repeat Animation
    • Events
      • Time - Every (insert time here) seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Animation - Play (unit you want to repeat)'s attack animation
For the Time part the lower the time the faster the animation plays itself, just don't make it too fast or the animation might not be able to fully play itself.
 
No, Use the action "Queue unit's animation"

this is a very unclean solution, imho. cause you might overfill the units anim queue.

just select the unit in your editor and check the animations duration (normally left side window, above the unit viewing section)

set your repeat timer to this time +0.1 seconds oder so. works perfectly with my tests.
