This model uses unused war3 retail textures. Since people complain about my model's sizes. Yes it has differences because it was in beta, the screen-shots show alpha. I extracted this from beta.
That aside, it is not very accurate. It's missing the claws, and the head is too big. All earlier versions of the DotC were much taller, and always had claws.
There are two early versions of the DotC that I know of that you could attempt to replicate :
- the earliest, with low poly head, bronze claws and team color on the feet (as seen in the screenshot you posted for example)
- the one that was used to create the current portrait model (preview)
The second one is easier as you have the portrait model to work with, but you would have to recreate the parts that were cut off, and edit the texture to revert some of the later repaints.
Apart from that the texture is in-game retail. The texture contains the unused druid of the claw texture. All it had to be done was apply texture from retail. Yes the model has errors because clearly its not a retail. You remind me of some person. The XGM have clearly remakes made by a person on this site.
