why does NewGen WE doesn't work on my laptop windows vista.
every time i open it, a window appears saying NewGen WE has stopped working.

You using the right version of WE? It only works with an old version of WE (the lattest update will make JNGP not work).

Don't worry about it saying it doesn't work. This happens on my computer as well, just give it time and it should load the editor.

Some computers just have a funny way with WE.

1. Make sure your anti virus does not destroy the extraction, various ones like kaspersky flag it as a false positive.
2. Make sure you are using worldedit version 1.21, not the lattest which 1.24 odd as JNGP does not work on versions newer or older than 1.21. This is the version of your worldeditor.exe file I am talking about, your game can use the lattest patch but inorder to use JNGP you just have to change the worldedit.exe for an old 1.21 one.

You do not need to patch, you just need the old worldedit.exe...

I for example have the lattest patch, but I have displaced my lattest worldedit.exe with the 1.21 version.

NewGen works for 1.26... but anyways, my war3 installation has both the new WE and the 1.21 version (by default)...
