[Crash] Newest version of my map started crashing.

Hello and thank you for reading my post.

I'm working on a PvP Arena map, and for a while it's been going great. However, during my last test in multiplayer the map crashed several times.

At first I thought it was due to newly tested Hero I've added, but it started crashing with different error message even when we tested without the new Hero.

At the moment I don't have a clue what's causing the crash, because I have 2 different error logs, and I can't recall adding anything new to the map that could cause the crash (like infinite loops or anything similar), at least not to my knowledge.

Here are the 2 crash logs. Hopefully you can detect what's causing it, is it Object Editor issue or Triggers or whatever else it could be.

Regarding the leaks, after reading a couple of guides you've posted, I noticed all of them use variables, with exception of unit groups. Does it mean I have to recode everything as variables in order to remove them, or is there another easier way around it?

your problem isn't leaks but bad/corrupted model or literally anything imported

The crashes happened very early in the game, about 2-5 minutes in, and I do know that in the latest version I did add some heavy tasking triggers (Things that perform every 0.03 sec of the game and such), which easily lead me to thinking that I should clear leaks there. The map has never crashed before (played it for 3 hours multiplayer) before this version, and even though it's true I added a couple of models and icons in the new version, I didn't use any of new imported data in 2. crash.

If however crashes still occur after I clear the leaks, I'll try removing custom models, though the imported stuff I use are 90% Icons, and maybe a few models, most of them approved on THW, and as far as I know corrupted resources do not get approved on this site.

I ran a few tests and confirmed that without specific periodic triggers (or triggers that run very frequently) the map didn't crash (at least not even as soon as it would've by now). Thanks for the help.

New problem: After clearing all the leaks I could find (quite a bunch of them in fact), I cannot run the map anymore. When I hit Test map (or F9) it opens Warcraft, and even when I go to single player - Test map folder, where the map is, the players won't show and the map doesn't start when I hit play button, it just goes back to the single player again.

I'm certain it's due to custom scripts that I used, but obviously they are necessary to clear the leaks. I only used the following ones:

call DestroyGroup(udg_TempUnitGroup)
call RemoveLocation(udg_TempPoint)
call DestroyForce(udg_TempPlayerGroup)


Any ideas?

I used one of the systems on Hive that allows instant unit movement without interrupting its orders. It's done with a few simple custom scripts by locating X and Y position of the position, and it turns out that I cannot clear the leaks from that, otherwise this problem would occur. Anyhow, I've fixed the issue, I don't think I'll be needing more help anymore, thanks for the help thus far.
