hey i just joined and was looking at some campaign maps. i do not know how to play them tho. how do i get them to work?

Wassup and welcome to the Hive, Vynckier. We hope you have a good time and follow the rules.

Also about your campaign question, first off click Download (Name of the Campaign your downloading).mdx <In Green> then when it says Open/Save. Then click save. Then it will show you a documentary of where you was before if you were importing maps or models, etc.

Then go to the Local Disk (C, then go to Program Files Folder, afterwards go to the Warcraft III Folder, After that go to the Campaigns Folder, and then click Save so you save it in that folder. Finally, just wait for the download to finish and then load your Warcraft and go to Custom Campaigns and it should be there.

Searching the site using the above link always helps, you can learn a lot that way: just reading and learning is usually the best place to start, especially if one feels overwhelmed.

Likewise, the tutorials can really teach ALL of us a thing or two.

  • Always search first! Did I already mention THAT?
  • When creating a new thread, make the title VERY specific: so the site's search engine (and we users) can easily understand just what the thread contains.
  • Post your new threads in the proper forum: read the descriptions of each one so that you know what to post there.
