New User Advice, please!

Gang! New user here and long time fan of the old school Warcraft. I am looking for standard player-created maps, just revisions on the old format without new races, conquests, or anything of the sort. I'm having trouble filtering through the catalog of fantastic maps, but am really interested in multi-player (player v computer) melee maps that are similar to the ones found in the basic game and its expansions.

Can anyone lend a little insight? It would be most appreciated.

Go into the packs section and type in melee map packs; you'll find plenty.
