New Ranks

After reading a few topics me and especially Bob27 gave me the idea to make a new rank called HW's Award of Exellence 2005 and 2006.

from 2005 there is GST_Nemisis and Malufa.

from 2006 there is Bob27.

A few days ago I also added a rank called MapMaking Award 2006 for Bob27's Mapping Contest.

naah. 2 days isnt enough maybe a few months? or just being extremely nice, helping people advertising the site. Make some kind of things to help the site like Bob27 did

Is Bob27 going to have a map making contest for 2007? That way those who do not finish in timefor this one will recieve a second chance next year sometime? That would be nice.

well me and Ralle are thinking of doing another contest, but were thinking of focusing on one area of maping, and not every single aspect like the current contest.

Or like terraning or storyline and stuff like that?

something like that, or focusing on one of the current catergorys such as making a RPG Contest. But I think if we keep hosting exactly the same contest every year then people will get tired of it.

We'll weve got along time before we can make another large contest or someother idea like that. So i'm sure we can come up with something by then.

I'll need ideas though.

well thank you for the award i much aprechiate it. i will try my best to live up to it with some fantastic facts and usless info which, while intresting, will never help anyone ever in later life. enjoy thanks bob27 for the great idea, i have notices some of you inspirations recently have made some great additions to the site. keep it up. and i hope we all have a great coming year.

ps, if there were two award last year, will ther be two this year? i would like to see who gets the seconds, taking bets now

Maybe i'll get the second one as well Well maybe we shouldn't award it to a Global Moderator or some 1 like that and award it to a normel members that is very active, has all his projects hosted here and so on.

yea I know. Maybe I can make a new account and get him 2 get the award Well maybe from now on we can people can nominate people and then we can vote on whos deserves it most?

Thats a good idea, a jury of people who have already recieved the award nominate 3 canidates and then in a forum people are given base facts about why each canidate was nomiated and then they vote.

no i think it should be a joint moderator decision. i personally dont think voting would work so well in this situation.

people would vote for who they like no matter who deserves it. Lead it in the moderator/admins.

well ok then I guess that means Global Moderators and Admins are the ones voting. But only if they havn't been nominated.
