hi. i know it is not polite of me to ask for help with my first post, but that is why i am here.

we have recently started playing TFT on our wireless network and gotten into downloading maps to play. we immediately got hooked on castle defense style maps and found Benji_123's maps. whether you know what i mean or not, my problem is one of them is broken. the neutral hostile units, despite perfect triggers (as far as i can tell) will not come and attack the castle. the name of the map is Castle Defense v2.1 and i got it from epic war :

http://www.epicwar.com/maps/22424/

i am new to the world editor so it is frustrating to me that i can't figure this out. please excuse my naivete here and with warcraft. i would really appreciate it if I could fix this map.

Ok basically , for neutral hostile not attack, there is only a few possibilities, either there is a auto AI enable, the computer will move the units away automatically.

Those neutrals are automatically tweaked in AI and won't attack anyone unless they are hit.
Using triggers to order them to walk around will therefore have some problems.
Just use a non-player spawn, but if all 12 player slots are taken, it would be a problem..
Try to disable a player slot and make it as the enemy spawn, If you have doubts with the triggering please visit, http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/

sorry it took me a bit to reply.

i followed your advice (i think.. i admit i am very new to this) and it worked! the enemy units were all neutral hostile and 'the attackers' were player 9, so i just made all the spawned units belong to player 9 and changed (tediously, by hand) every reference to them. it works! a little too well... lol.

thank you so much.
