Negative effect?

Hi, i've heard many people talk about making spells negative like changing devotion aura to a defense-lowering aura, but i can't seem to figure out how. It didn't work with a minus before as i thought it would. I hope anyone could help me with this, it would be alot easier than making an fully triggered aura

hold shift while pressing enter or double-clicking

use it in places where it makes sense -> reducing armor, movespeed...
do not use it to set sight range negative or something like that. you'd probably end up crashing the game...

To produce negative spell effects you must first allow negative values in the map.

• Select File>Preferences>General
• Check the box: Allow negative real values in Object Editor
• Plug in whatever negative values you wish in your spells
