Need skin help

I am trying to get custom skins Into ROC i have winmpq can open the mpq extract the rufleman.blp to my dekstop delete the one in the mpq and upload my skin as the name rifleman.blp close the mpq and reopen make sure its there open waredit and try using it and it doesnt work is this the way to do it or bo i need to edit the mdx file in some way?
