Hello People.

Ive played a map where it turns on cinematic mode. Goes to a camera. And starts a video or shows an image in the map:O

Does anyone know how i do that? Please??

A video? Are you certain?
Was it a compilation of images, a warcraft video, or really something like on youtube? (I've never seen that before)

For the images, use this action:
  • Cinematic - Apply a filter over 0.00 seconds using Normal blending on texture "Imported File", starting with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) and 100.00% transparency and ending with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) and 0.00% transparency
The imported file should be .tga-format

This is a screenshot I've made for a test example:

thare's just no way you can insert videos into maps.
You just can't and anyway the map would have hundreds of MBs.
He probably saw a cinematic.

as what i saw in the screen shot it not like a movie =.=

i juz saw 5 imported model file (special effect)
and a unit a center that showing life bar....

Dude, he said "or shows an image in the map"
So I've created an image in the map and gave him the trigger of how to do it...

The "special effects" you see, is an image, not in-game special effects.

The HP bar you see is because I've got some crappy program that automatically presses ALT, to see hidden units etc... (useful for some maps, annoying for others).

Movies aren't possible in warcraft, unless he is talking about a cinematic, which is probably the case.

Thanks ap0calypse! But how do i make an .img file into .tga? Or .img file into .blp?
