So I've got a problem with my model made out of geomerges. The base model moves in the animations but the merges don't. It didn't work for me to install mdlvis but is there any other simple way to fix this? So that the merges are fully attached you know.
When I searched for similar threads I didn't find much info about that.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's exactly what I wanna do! I'll try it now and tell you if it worked later. Thanks!

EDIT: Nothing happens, I've tried all the ID's on the list. Do I have to change the Geoset Animation ID? Oh and I also removed all animations from the merged part.

Convert your model to .mdl, then open it in Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modify, then select the vertices of the existing mesh, where the merged geoset shall be attached to, then go to Tools -> Vertex Group Of Selection. Now the program should tell you the number of the Vertex Group.
Now select all Vertices of the Merged Mesh and go to Tools -> Assign Vertex Group.
Now type in the number you have gotten of the mesh it shall be attached to.
Now the merged mesh should be attached to the same bone as the original mesh and move properly with the animations.

Will try that!
Alright didn't work but I think I know what I've done wrong. When I type in the number in Assign Vertex Group I write 167, cause the vertices I got was 1,6 and 7. And I suspect that's what I'm doing wrong but I don't know what's right to do with that.

I am having the exact same problem. And I don't know anything about attaching bones. I have this awesome model, I just have the same problem, let me know if you find out anything. Thanks
