Need cinematic map help

I'm not really sure what you want us to do?

And here's something else you might find useful.

Other then that if you have no idea what you want to make then don't make anything. The point of making cinematics, well, maps in general is to create something you want to create. It's a hobby, not an assignment or a job. Wait for a good idea to strike you and if you think you can express it via mapping then do it.

You also might want to check out the map section for battle cinematics in case that's what you really want to make. It might give you some inspiration.

So, what do you know about cinematics?


It is very easy though, only few actions from section cinematic, animation and camera, feel free to find out what are each of them doing

and some other like units, special effect, environment. The plus is that what you triggered, you will see. So no hidden bugs.

First time you can use waits, but when you are doing battle cinematic, use proper time system (it is not complicated, but has many triggers) and that script in jass to play specific animations (in gui, when you type play "attack - 1" animation, it will play randomly from "attack, attack - 1, attack - 2...."
 
Hi all,

Many thanks for the links and comments. I have thought about the movie more, and I think I would like to have a really epic battle between a unit like a footman (because of the defend animation is cool for blocking attacks), and some sort of Orc chum. I may need new models for that.

I'll try to get back to you when I figure out more.
