Need a recomendation , how i begin?

Hi guys, today i found the 'Gaias Retaliation' map in some room, played it , so i become interested in map creating. I see how much i can do with a map.
I wanna sugests to begin my journey , and i hope you guys accept me like a apprentice.

I know a little about logics of prog, like pascal or even java. Just a bit , not much advanced.

Sorry for bad english, not my native language.
