Easiest thing is just to make a melee map. Its good practice that allows you to get familiar with the editor, but doesnt hit you with the complicated aspects of mapping, like triggering And the current blizzard maps are good reference to start learning how to terrain. Just mimic their texturing methods and doodad placement. SInce one you can terrain, triggering is just the next step.

Calm down dude. Just think well on what you are going to do. Ive never made a melee map for TheFrozenThrone cause i learned much with Reign of Chaos. Anyway if you are not a good terrainer i suggest opening up a melee map from blizzard (witch is not recommended cause that its like stealing work) and edit it. Now, triggering its the hardest if you are not very good at it  . I sometimes don't understand what are Variables for. Maybe thats why im not a good triggerer  . Oh well...

Good Luck
