Story
The lost city of Khosar stands as a eternal monument in the burning sands.
A city of the dead, A necropolis.
In its dust drowned halls the ancients wake from the hereafter, drawn to live out lifes many vendetta's for an eternity.
In this land where peace is short lived and strife omnipresent, not even the dead are spared.


Overview

[color="#EDDA9"]The empire has long since crumbled, its many kings lie in their graves as a testament to the glories of the past.
You and your fellow heroes of old must continue the wars fought in life and exact vengeance on your enemies.
Death is not a release, merely a second chance to relive those battles fought in the ancient past.[/COLOR]


Necropolis is a Zone Control Map.

The Aim of the game is to destroy all your opponents Crypts.
Crypts are captured by killing them.
Players are divided into 2 teams with up to 5 players each.

  • Scaling Battlefield

Structures

Crypts are the main objective, they are fragile buildings scattered around the map.

Bastions are large fortress structures that train units and provide regeneration to its owners. Has True Sight,

Crypt Defenders are weak towers that watch over important locations. Has Ture Sight.

All structures can be taken over by destroying them.

Support Caster, excels at massing up and supporting large armies.
Learns Insight Seal, Premonition, Necromancy, Bone Obelisk

Melee Skirmisher, excels at prolonged melee combat with enemy armies.
Learns Iron Fist, Blaze of Glory, Battle Command, Everlasting Defeat

Crypstalker
Ranged Assassin, excels at killing and debuffing high threat enemies and heroes.
Learns Vampiric Touch, Dead Silence, Siphon Soul, Gravechill Arrow

Corpse Giant
Support Tank, excels at creating corpses for fodder and soaking damage.
Learns Meat Cleaver, Bloodspill, Exhume, Goreblast

Ember Prince
Siege Caster, excels at inflicting huge amounts of AOE damage at long range.
Learns Firestorm, Cremation, Soul Burn, Everblaze

Foreunner
Support Melee, excels at transporting units across the battlefield and staging hit and run attacks.

Dust Wraith
Skirmishing Caster, excels at slowing advancing armies and ranged attacks.

Ghast Tamer
Melee Caster, adept at handling vast armies of air units which he can feed his lesser minions to.

- Nassan's Mangler has been changed to be more worthy of its absurd cost

- Increased the cost and stats of Defeat's Prisoner, its passive ability was too strong for such a cheap item.
- Added a new item to the offense shop - Naze's Cursebane
- Gravechill Plater has been replaced with Nassan's Thumper, which has an AOE active slow.

- Ghost Wind has a completely new effect.
- Replaced Zephyr with Dune Auger

You can open and close the multiboard a few seconds after game start to show the entire multiboard.

For some reason the description never updates correctly and I am for some reason unable change it.

Fixed descriptor for now.

EDIT.

Seems that the site auto deletes any description I enter.

Ok Ive fixed all player group related issues, all player should no longer have the mentioned issues.

- Carrion Strike is now Carrion Storm and has been remade so the gargoyle does a carpet bomb along the ground.

- Fixed the issue in which the trigger created more dummy crypts on startup that required.

As a result the Victory trigger should now work properly at all times.

- Fixed a massive oversight that has been ingame since like 0.4 series. (Grave Turret had a multishot but was never removed.)

- Unliving Armour is now less badass and easier to kill, other defenders such as Embalming Slime are weaker.

- Raise dead Once again summons 2 skeletons, allowing to build up armies faster.

- All units have more movespeed, Crypts are also easier to destroy.

- The following units now require Crypts to summon
Guardian - 4
Scarab - 3
Berserker - 3
Pit Mummy (Assassin) - 2
Immortal - 3
Khalazzi Boneworm - 12 (thats half the map)

This map is fantastic, very original. Hero customized spells are very interesting, which makes the game play really fun. The terrain is spectacular, the "bony" atmosphere is just great.:psmile: And as far as I played, everything seems balanced and well made. I rate this a 5/5 :grin:

bugged seals (ulti)...
well i dunno if all but vengeance and fury seals are bugged... at least on lvl 2, dunno if also lvl 1
The vengeance seal appears above skele head, and in status (ofc with 50% chance) but after like 5 seconds after skele was summoned it goes away (the status, but not the visual affect) also i never noticed dmg dealt. also lvl 2 only does 100 dmg, just like lvl 1? laaame
fury seal on lvl 2 never appears, as if 0% chance.
map is fine though... too bad leavers because they dont understand...

Vengeance Seal does indeed do 100 damage at level 2. It does 50 damage at level 1 both in tooltip and effect. Ive double checked just to be sure.

As for why the seal goes away after 5 seconds, do you have a replay so i can check it its working as intended? Dispel magic abilities can remove as the tooltip says.

Lastly thanks for pointing out the Fury Seal bug, Ill have it fixed right away.

Added a 0.61a version to address this.

Not really a bug, more of a loophole I found: If you take the Vassal hero and use Insurrection on your raised units while they're next to a captured crypt, they'll attack it and it will go back to neutral. Then, by killing the crypt (and your former units) again, you will get a treasure point, some gold and experience.

Not sure if this is worth pulling off in multiplayer (I can only play single), but thought I'd signal it.

Also, good map.
