Myths of Dianmorr is based off of DeathClownz original Myths - Dianmorr from a long time ago. I liked the game and the concept but could tell right away it needed more work and design.

I've recently put Vuen's aside, allowing it to be bug tested and stabalized before adding any new features. This allows me time to focus my work on a new map, Myths.

It's been my aspiration to create a monster capture game. This is it. It's not going to be a big, over the top map, or have anything crazy or try to break free from the WC3 engine. Instead it will be fun, well designed, and unique by using the general WC3 system with tweaks here and there.

It's main focus is on PvP, where players tame creatures they find, strengthen them by fighting other creatures, and search for other Myth hunters to kill and gain levels.

There will be a co-op mode too, where players work together to take down the stronger myths in the game. In the game you can save your characters level and the first two item slots.

The game has poor terrain at the moment, since I am not much of a terrainer. I'm mainly a vJASS coder.

Most all the systems are in for a fun, basic game. Right now I plan on expanidng it to include an elemental system. There's tons of programming done for it and the game can be loaded up on BNet and played for leisurely fun.

It works across multiple maps. Each map will contain it's own set of myths that can be converted to items and saved, then brought over to other maps using the save code given. You also save your progress.

Levels allow you to distribute your stats. Stats don't give too many bonuses, as you only gain one mana, 5 hp, and a small amount of damage depending on if you level str, agi or int. But it does allow you to capture certain monsters and raises your gold cap so you can buy certain equipment and creatures.

Myth Hunters will also be able to hold items and equipment, such as bows, which will work much like an ORPG, changing your attack range and attachments.

Right now I could use a terrainer that works fast, and does a good job. The terrain uses natural, non-WC3 cliffs.

This is a prototype of how it works. Currently it's set up with debug messages, and has some fine tuning to be done. I'm terraining new terrain for it but hoping to find a terrainer so I can return to the scripting.

Updated with more screenies. First is hero selection.

Second is a Hunter with one of the most basic Myths, a wolf. Also shows the pet command book, the rest icon, and the adrenaline icon. Ham/meat must be used to feed pets.

The third screenshot is the new terrain I'm working on. It's a slow process, and I'm working out the details.
