I made a new camera with the camera palette and tried to make it the default camera for a player: Camera - Apply without panning Main Camera <gen> for Player 1 (Red) over 1000000000.00 seconds ... Nothing happened.

And how can i change the turn rate of a unit to be slower? The least possible turn rate is still fast.

That means the camera will be applied gradually over that time, not for that time. You need to apply it over near 0 seconds as currently it would take years for the camera to position itself there.

Yes, that's not a rate number. It is the amount of time that passes during camera movement. The higher the value, slower the camera movement becomes.
