Once I was planing to go on a vacation to an island, but I could not do it, so I made this terrain map. Please, moderate this and tell me what could be added or removed. I have also attached the map, if anyone is interested, but since I am really a newbie at terrain crating, I don't know who will ever need it.

Cheers :cgrin:

Well for start lower the trees , rocks etc. After that try different angle for screenshot (any units with close up look ugly). Try adding more bushes or grass and maybe some ruins. Also if you don't have the UTM download it - you can find many helpful doodads there. I hope I helped with that :)

It's in the "stickies" in this category ( at the top page when you load terrainboard )

Name of the thread is: The Ultimate Terraining Map 3.0

Err is your Warcraft 3 on lowest settings or something :nw:
It looks like lowest settings.. should always use Highest settings for SS.. even if you only have a 64mb graphics card, nobody will notice because it's a single frame

Haha, for some strange reason I'm more interested in the graphics of Wc3 than the island haha

For whats supposed to be a relaxing vacation getaway, the naga seem dangerous - but luckily they're busy staring into empty space - you need more movement if your going to include multiple people/animals in a terrain.

Also this could use many more details.

Generally, the ground textures added for buildings look terrible and out of place in something like this, I suggest removing it on the Murloc tower and placing some rocks around it to look more so like it was built then just stuck in the sand.
