Hey guys,

I would like to trigger the sounds of units when clicking them... but it would look stupid if their mouth at portrait wouldnt move ._.
Is there a way to make them do this animation?

(we got mp3 files for voices (voice-actor) can't implement them cause they aren't wav.. so we need to trigger them to the units.)

problem is ... a mp3 has 50kb a wav is 500 kb; that's too much >,<
And it supports wav <.<

You can always convert it to mp3 with a lowered bit rate and then convert it back to wav. Check out audacity (google it). Although, you'll need the LAME codec to support mp3's.

Also, wav's are compressed inside maps a little, iirc, so it won't *really* take up 500 kb.

You may really want to do it manually, and there are ways to sort of get it working, but (1) you can't detect when a unit is clicked, just when he is selected (so you can't repeatedly get voices), (2) you would likely end up running it on a different sound channel than voices and that has its own issues.

But it is shocking that the sound file would be 500 kb. Especially if it is as short as a voice would be (unless you mean all the voice files added up).
