Movement Help For TD

Ok ive been looking around in the tutorials and i cant find help for this. so say if my creeps spawned and went to a waypoint 1 and the maze the player made forced the creeps back thought the spawn region. well the spawn region has a enter trigger on it. so if the creeps enter it again they go back to waypoint 1 and keep going back and forth till they die. Not cool right? Does anyone have a good and effective way to fix this. i thought about making 36 unit groups since there is 36 movement regions. but that seemed too expensive. Any ideas?
