Mountain Giant Resistant Skin > what does that do?

Hello Hive,
does somebody know EXACTLY what that skill does and by how much the duration of spells is reduced (are spells only applied for herodur instead of dur?). Which spells are affected by resistant skin? Can i modify this skill in any way so that only my custom map is affected or is this skill kind of hard coded?

Resistant Skin make a non hero unit targeted as a hero.

what Kino said - e.g. stun duration of ability X is for normal unit is 4 seconds, while for heroes 2 seconds.
This stun will last only 2 seconds (hero duration) on normal unit with Resistant Skin ability.
