Some shots from a map I'm working on right now, I bet you'll never guess what kind it is...

This is quite good. You have a good sense of doodad placement. You've spammed doodads well. A fog might be a really nice addition. As well as some imported grass or something plant like.

This is great stuff, this makes me wanna play the map. Some parts such as the cave still need some work but it's really nice.

*offtopic*: If it's for an RPG, you're a god at terraining among the RPG-makers:grin:

You know, one map I played had a very cool way of making the insides of buildings. He put some floor tiles and doodads down in the rectangle shape, then covered it with an actual building (not doodad) then, whenever a unit owned by the player walked by the entrance, he made the building see-through (tint 100/100/100/50 or so). I think it's a very clever and good idea, but of course the traditional "teleport to a seperate part of the map where all the indoor places are" is a good idea as well.

Thank you everyone, I was really surprised by the responses. I'm glad you like them. They're from an RPG I'm working on, I think everyone assumed that?

What's that at the 2n pic? Did the house flood?
The house was built on a sinkhole.

If that indoor place is supposed to be a mine, it shouldn't use the white bricks as a ground tile. Use dirt and rocks.
Don't worry it's not.

Thanks again guys...

Those are bridges that come in the ultimate terraining map. You could get it, along with a bunch of doodads, in the stickied thread in this forum.
