This is my first animated model enjoy. In general this model is a raw resource gathering point, and it's design to work as the night elf entangle mine or the undead haunted mine, yet it has enough animations to be a stand alone building.
Mesh: almost completely from scratch.
Textures: only ingame textures.
Animations: all custom, (Birth, Stand, Stand Work, and Death)
Particles: 3 (1 at Birth,1 at Stand Work, and 1 at Death)
Attachment Points: beside the classic ones (overhead, sprite first, sprite second) I have added two more generic attachment points named (head and chest).
The interesting part about this new attachment points is that they are ment to be used to show what resource the mine is producing. The head attachment point is fixed at the exit of the building, and the chest attachment point moves along with the ore-wagon (only shows up when the wagon is returning in the Stand Work animation).
First Submission
Edit 1:
Centered attachment point. (not only the screenshot).
Make everything disappears at the end of death animation.

Added to event objects. (1 ubersplat and 1 death sound)
Added three particle emitters. (1 for birth anim, 1 for work anim, and 1 for death anim)

Yes sir , as I stated I am learning how to model and both of your styles inspire me a lot.
hehe also I am now doing other buildings (a foundry and a yet unnamed production building) and I think that will be useful if they fit with good quality modern building models from the hive (like your modern buildings).
PS: hope that you are not upset by this, for the record I never took pieces, meshes or anims from another model (besides blizzards) to do my buildings.
Hey I'm trying to use this model as a stand alone gold mine that mines gold by itself but I am having trouble changing the Haunted Gold Mine stats to make it a standalone mining building, any ideas on how I can do it?
