why do many models dont work when it says that they do work? can anyone help me? what am i doing wrong?

1. Did you make sure to delete the war3 line?
2. Did you restart world editor after importing a model?
3. If you did respect #2 did you open up the map that you imported the model into?
4. Are you sure the model you downloaded is working? Ask someone else that downloaded it if it works or look at the moderator comment.
5. Are you SURE you did everything right?

If you did everything then I really have no idea.

If he did all of that, maybe he doesn't have the right paths (or the model doesn't work).

many models where the moderator said that it works dont work. but i only use the file which has the ".mdx" at the end and import them. but what do you mean apocalypse? do i have to change the name and then it works?

If you only import the .mdx-files, you're doing it wrong.
You have to import the .blp-files as well and rename those, the name of those files depend on the folder they are in.

Example: the blp-file is in the folder "Textures\...", rename the file (inside the world editor) to "Textures\File.blp", where "file.blp" is the name of the original file.

Normally there's also a "how to import"-tutorial for every model
This is an example of such a tutorial: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models.php?id=4ueeqm&p=tutorial_import

This link can be found on any model and is just above the download-link.
