When i import skins, attatchments, minimap preview they last for awhile but then the stop showing up. Why is this and can i stop it? Thanks

When you import something, save and restart World Editor. Try that.
Also they don't show up in World Editor or in game? If it's in World Editor it might work correctly in game anyways.

Good idea, but didn't work. They aren't showing up in either in-game or in WE.
The only thing that works is re-importing but this only lasts a day or two before they don't work anymore

1) Hmm sometimes the files in my import editor show 0kb and don't work in the editor either.
A quick restart of the editor usually fixes it for me.

2) Perhaps you opened the wrong map or something.

3) Perhaps your computer has a virus doing weird stuff to your maps.

Try to change the path of the file, it must be <name>.<type> using a custom path, then save and restart WE to see if its working.

Viruses cannot directly bug your software, even if any of the files is infected, the WE will display it as a corrupted file, or perphas (I bet he as an anti-virus), the anti-virus will already delete it upon downloading.

this is exactly what happens...

so you restart your editor, or the whole computer?

The Editor, the problem is with the editor not your computer.
