Hi,

My friend made this helmet model for my map I'm making. However, the helmet is glitched for some reason... The model doesn't rotate and can't attach properly. I would be greatful if someone can fix this model for me, as my friend couldn't figure out why . Currently the helmet is untextured.

Thanks for replying Debode.

I have already tried it in mdx form. I'll attach the problem in a screenshot (I use a texture called black.blp)

As you can see, the red circles show you the helmet, I have definitely attached the helmet to the head. I suppose I could fix this by making it higher, but then I think it won't work. Also, sometimes the helmet disappears...

I have encountered this mofo problem before. When creating the helmet you imported the geoset onto a node other than a bone. Simple export the geoset in the geoset manager and make sure you re-import it onto a bone node. When you put them on nodes like helpers or particle emmitters the game will assign the geoset to other nodes in the game with the same name or at random.

Sorry I haven't replied in a long time... but thanks for all your answers.

@ anarchianbedlam: Thanks, I'll tell my 3d modeller to fix it. I actually found a replacement helmet, but thanks anyway. You will be credited.

EDIT: I've tried to contact my modeller... but he hasn't been active... I know this isn't a request forum, but will someone be happy to fix it for me? Mods, if you want me to make a separate thread, then I will.
