You can remove weapons without modeling you know? :p
Skinning, find a tutorial i think its called "alpha skinning" It simple just just open the mpq export the skin, than you do something with alpha on the weapon. save the skinn convert it to .blp and import into editor :D

I know, but skinning is rather hard for me since most 2d art tools keep crashing on me. :p

(BTW, it was because I changed the animation of a worker unit to display his gold bag instead of lumber when harvesting tree's. :p
To bad the map has failed because of a system it needs which is sadly.. Not possible.. xD

Ohhh... :S

But i think you can trigger the animation...

It would take some time, but it should be possible.

It's far easier to just do a simple model edit. =)
And well the system I need is when you attack a certain tree (lets say summer tree is gold, barren tree is iron and fall tree is just a tree) the unit gets a custom value and when it restores it wont deposit the lumber but the gold iron and wood will be stored in an integer.

But I was unable to detect these things also tried when a doodad is attacked but no luck. So I gave up on the map. :p
Still have Ziggurat Takeover II to finish..
