Hello model makers and technically sound people, I am in need of a model and I guess the best place to start would be here. I would like to request a model for warcraft III in the shape of "Scarlet Commander Mograine"

The only actual look of the feller from WOW is during the event in Scarlet monastery where he kills his son, but during this time he is wearing a uptodate set called dreadnought, I was aiming for a more traditional scarlet set for him to be adorn in(ss scarlet champion look, maybe without helm). I have a passion for the Scarlet crusaders and I would love to get ahold of a model of the original wearer with the Ashbringer in tow, anyone interested?

Lore:

I have recently discovered the whole warcraft editor model scene and i lack the ability to create this...

I think you're thinking of Mograine's son (Renault Mograine, one of the bosses in SM).

Mograine never wore a Scarlet Crusade set. Just the Imperial Plate-looking set like he wears in Old Hillsbrad, the Dreadnaught set (according to the story), and the armor shown here: http://www.wowwiki.com/images/6/60/Highlord_Mograine.jpg

that is true, he has never been seen with a set on like that, but im not thinking of the "lesser mograine" i guess what im thinking of is a mis-mash of all the scarlet people ive seen into a single outfit. IF mograine was around during the height of the scarlet crusade would he wear the scarlet looking outfit that we see very often in the Plaguelands? Red boots, red gaunts, red shoulders, red crown thingy, white tabard with the scarlet crest on it. Its all theory craft but i think it would fit better like that w/ ashbringer than dreadnaught.

I think the reason hes in dreadnaught is simply because of the release of naxx around the time of the corrupted ashbringer, this is entirely my opinion but i dont think it fits him...

"Abbendis and Isillien founded the Scarlet Crusade, with Mograine as its first Highlord, Abbendis as its High General, and Isillien as its Grand Inquisitor. According to Korfax, Champion of the Light, the first Dreadnaught's Battlegear was also forged for Mograine at this time, giving him the look of a demon as he battled the Scourge."

In other words, when he was leader of the Scarlet Crusade and when they weren't crazy and actually were fighting against the Undead, and after he was just an ordinary Paladin who found something evil and before he became corrupted and sided with the Scourge, he wore the Dreadnaught gear.

If you want your Mograine to be accurate and actually be Mograine, he will have to be wearing it. Unless of course, you want it to be Mograine before he was leader of the Scarlet Crusade, or Morgraine after he was corrupted.

iyiyiyiyiy people can do their research, I guess i just dont see him wearing a tank suit and be known for what he does! it just does not compute in my head. If that quote you posted is indeed real then he should be in dreadnaught, but then again, it prolly my mistake to try and mix lore and wow game mechanics, so with that out the window

I guess Mograine should be in dreadnaught so that one fan art is a great depection of him

Probably add a cape, i think a cape would be nice addition, anyone wanna make the model?

Totally dude, the dreadnought has a mean look to it, but im pretty sure you could make something similar yet scarlet looking and not too weak or skinny

but yea, anyone willing to make a model of the scarlet highlord? based off that fan art?
