JESP - The old standard for JASS spells. It stands for JASS Enhanced Spell Pseudotemplate. It was to detail the proper formatting, implementation, and configurations for spells. The reason why it is no longer used is because JASS coding has been changed a lot with the introduction of vJASS. Here is the old JESP standard: http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=78850
MPI - Multi-player instanceable. It basically means that your code can function properly when different players are executing it.
