Looks like lots of sparkles.

Make it fire, with smoke. That looks more like a meteor.

no offence, but it was complete & utter rubbish. The so called "meteorite" looked more like a line of flame moving towards the ground. The impact effects were also bad. I did not like it at all. Keep trying. Or better yet, dont... 1\1000000

looks pretty good, as said by the others its more of a fireball but a good one at that.

@ masterEditor09: lol, have you even tried making particle effects? do you even model? judging from your profile I'd say you don't, so before you go telling people they should give up go try making what they are.
