Metamorphosis bug

Hello everyone! Today I've faced this bug (again) when your hero dies in Metamorphosis form and starts his strange behaviour. It seems like he doesn't need player's commands anymore If he has nothing to do - he reacts on them, but if he's in fight or already going somewhere - you can't redirect him or even cast a spell. What is it and how to deal tiwh it? Any ideas?

Apparently there's a solution but it's near impossible: Loss of control bug (WW denies throne).
