Merging/shaping Regions?

I was just wondering if you can merge two regions together into one region and more importantly if you can make non-squareshaped regions.

You can't merge them but you can create other shapes than squares. You can create rectangles

You can't merge them; for triggers, just use an "Or" condition

u can have a third region over the other ones and use a trigger to eliminate the other 2 and then activate the third one.
