MDX to M2

Does someone know a program that converts mdx files to m2 files. Ive looked a bit and i think there is one but i cant seem to find it. Any help would be most appreciated.

m2 file is wow format, why the hell would you do that?

Does it matter? I have some of the wow alpha files and they are mdx. I wanted to use them in wow. or make some small pets out of w3 files....theres lots i wanted to do. figured if i wanted to know about mdx this would be the place.
