Hello!

Is there any MDX/MDL to Quake MD2 converter program, code? That's also good, to import the mdx to a modeller, and export then to md2, but animations are important. I know, that MD2 isn't a bone animated format.

Thanks

How would you handle materials? particle emitters? etc.

And again, you will have issues with frames.
"a classic md2 file is composed of 199 frames distributed in 21 animations"
"Maximum number of frames: 512"
WC3 models can easily have thousands of frames.

if you can find an MD2 library in python, I can send you an MDX lib in python that i generated using my new tool.

Thanks, but I think, GhostWolf has right.

Thanks for all answers, but I finished what I wanted to do, it's not important anymore.
